RWC: team combat
Prepare an exclusive RWC character for 7 versus 7 combat. Registration requirements and basic rules.
What is RWC
RWC pits two parties against each other in private arenas using event equipment and supplies. The inspected local configuration uses 7 versus 7, best of 5: the first team to 3 wins takes the match. Each round lasts up to 300 seconds. Check the registration NPC for the current format if configuration changes.
Prepare your character
- Create a new Novice at base/job level 1/1 and visit RWC Character at Prontera 152,282.
- Choose your class and confirm. Conversion is permanent and your class becomes fixed: the character can only visit towns and participate in RWC; unrelated NPCs and normal Battleground queues are blocked.
- Allocate stats and skills. Conversion assigns the class levels and grants 1000 Zeny once.
- Visit RWC Supplier at Prontera 156,282 for free equipment, card configuration and supplies. Items are permanent, personal and cannot be transferred. You can obtain multiple copies to try builds.
Available classes are Lord Knight, Paladin, Assassin Cross, Stalker, Whitesmith, Creator, High Wizard, Professor, Sniper, High Priest, Champion, Clown and Gypsy. Clown requires a male character and Gypsy a female character; they count as different classes. Mounted variants count as the same class.
RWC Character offers free stat resets, skill resets or both, supply snapshots and restoration, free level 25 guild creation and practice rooms independent of matches. Save a supply snapshot before fighting: restoration fills only the missing quantities up to that snapshot, without duplicating stock, subject to weight and space. RWC Healer at Prontera 164,282 restores HP/SP for free, without buffs.
Registration requirements
The leader registers the party at RWC Registration, Prontera 160,282. Before registering:
- The party must contain exactly 7 members, all online, alive and in Prontera.
- All must be RWC characters with their assigned class and levels, and each member must use a different class.
- All must belong to the same guild. Opposing teams may share a guild.
- Wear only RWC equipment, close storage and trades, and leave practice rooms or Battleground queues.
- Nobody may be reserved in another RWC queue or match.
The queue pairs the first valid parties. Changing the roster, leaving Prontera, changing guild or disconnecting while waiting invalidates registration. Close NPC dialogs to allow the match to start.
Basic rules
- WoE combat rules apply. Win a round by eliminating the opponents or having more survivors when time expires.
- There is no resurrection during a round. Death or disconnection eliminates that character for the round; they may participate in the next one. Dead characters return to Prontera and restore supplies from their snapshot if weight and space allow.
- Ties replay the round without awarding a win. Arenas rotate between rounds, including ties.
- The inspected configuration allows 10 seconds before the opening round and 10 seconds of preparation between rounds. Use preparation to adjust your build and replenish supplies.
- Rosters are fixed: there are no substitutions during a match. Keep your registered guild to enter subsequent rounds.
- During an official round, type @gg to vote for your team's surrender. An absolute majority of the full roster is required: 4 of 7 votes. Each character votes once; connected eliminated members can also vote. Surrender awards that round to the opponent.
- There are no rewards, rankings or tournament brackets. Practice rooms let you test builds without registering.
