Turn hats into costumes

Prepare the hat

Speak to Costume Aurelie in Prontera, 164, 169. Conversion costs 500 War Badges.

Equip the normal upper, middle or lower hat you want to convert. Free the costume slots it will occupy: a hat covering several positions needs all those slots available.

Confirm conversion

Select the hat and review the confirmation. The item itself is transformed; you do not receive an extra copy. It moves to costume positions and serves a cosmetic purpose.

Conversion removes refinement and broken status, replacing normal equipment effects with costume behavior. Do not convert a hat you need for its stats. The NPC does not offer an undo option.

Payment and result

Badges are charged only when conversion and equipping the costume succeed. Canceling consumes no badges.
