A cooldown per account and MVP
The account cooldown is separate for each MVP instance type. Switching characters on the same account does not clear that MVP's wait. Current definitions use 3 or 7 days:
- 7 days: Beelzebub, Bio3 MVPs, Ifrit, Valkyrie Randgris and Wounded Morocc.
- 3 days: other MVP catalog entries, such as Amon Ra and Baphomet.
When it starts
The account is associated with the copy during participation and cannot open another copy of the same MVP. The waiting period starts when the instance closes, including unsuccessful attempts. Disconnecting or leaving the party does not remove participation or prevent cooldown when the copy closes. The timer continues while offline and across character changes. See duration and re-entry.
