Battleground

The eight Battleground modes

Learn each mode objective to help your team win rounds and matches.

Combat and control

Team vs Team

Two teams fight in rounds. Eliminate opponents and keep allies alive: deaths reduce each side's remaining players for that round.

Battle Zone

Control the central area with more teammates than opponents. The controlling team accumulates time; the first to 80 seconds wins the round. Equal numbers provide no control time to either team.

Assaults and Emperium

Conquest

One team attacks and the other defends. Attackers must destroy Guardian Stones, break through barricades and destroy the Emperium within the time limit. Objective announcements guide each stage; progress opens the next stage.

Castle Siege

An attacker/defender assault. Attackers progress through two Guardian Stones and the defensive gate to the Emperium; defenders must stop them from completing those objectives in time.

Destroy the Emperium

Each team protects its own Emperium and tries to destroy the enemy's. Destructions decide rounds and contribute to the match result.

King of Emperium

Both teams race to destroy a shared objective. Break through the barricades to reach the Emperium. The team that destroys it wins the round.

Transport and collection

Cursed Treasure

Collect the central treasure and carry it to the enemy base to score. Protect the carrier, whose skills are blocked while carrying it. On death, the treasure becomes available again.

Triple Inferno

Three teams collect skulls and deposit them at their team's delivery point. Skulls also spawn in the center. Death drops your carried skulls for others to take. Skulls are a match counter, not inventory items you keep. The goal is 50 deposited skulls.

Rotation and preparation

Modes rotate after matches and the order may change. Check the entry menu and arena announcements. Conquest uses only available arenas. See joining, teams and leadership and Telma supplies.
