Battleground

Battleground teams and leadership

Identify your team, use its chat and learn leader skills and activity rules.

Your team during a match

Battleground uses Blue Team, Red Team and, in Triple Inferno, Green Team. Team information appears in the guild window; use guild chat to communicate with Battleground teammates. Your regular guild is not permanently replaced. Its information returns when you leave.

Leadership and skills

The first member is the leader. If they leave, leadership passes to another member in entry order. The team skill tree includes Battle Order, Restore, Regeneration and Emergency Call. The leader uses them, and cooldowns are shared across the team. Emergency Call gathers eligible members on the same map. It does not summon dead characters or bypass arena movement restrictions. The window reports remaining cooldown when you try to use a skill too soon.

Song areas

Arenas contain visible Poem of Bragi and Assassin Cross of Sunset areas. Enter the song cells to receive their effects; effects linger for 20 seconds after leaving.

Contribution

Contribution counts your current match kills against other teams on the same Battleground map. It is temporary and resets when you leave the team.

Stay active

The current setup announces inactivity at 40 seconds and automatically removes you at 60 seconds. Removal keeps the desertion penalty, which may delay your next entry. See joining and leaving and mode objectives.

Recover in the arena

Approach the Healer at your base. Entering its area restores HP and SP, grants Blessing and Increase AGI, repairs equipment and removes weapon, shield, armor and helmet strip states, plus Don't Forget Me. There is no Zeny fee.

This differs from the town Healer. To review your performance separately from team contribution, open Stats.
